This is not a model-training role. We are not building or fine-tuning models from scratch. You build agentic workflows and LLM-powered applications on top of frontier models, wire them into real enterprise systems, and make them safe to run.

You will work as part of the delivery team alongside consultants, business analysts, and architects. The consultant carries the client relationship and the architect owns the hard architectural calls. You own the build and you make real engineering decisions, not just execute someone else’s spec. You are proactive about spotting better ways to build, and trusted to deliver without close supervision.

What you will do

  • Use coding agents to prototype AI solutions quickly against real client requirements, so the team can validate value before committing to a full build

  • Build, deploy, and maintain LLM-powered applications and agents that align with enterprise architecture principles and standards, with evaluation, monitoring, and token tracking in place from day one

  • Set up MCP connectors and permissions against client systems, taking real care over data handling, access control, and what an agent is and is not allowed to do

  • Build production solutions that meet client security requirements and European data protection obligations, including GDPR. This is not optional and not an afterthought

  • Collaborate with consultants, business analysts, and architects to break business requirements down into solutions that are feasible, maintainable, and safe

  • Create reusable AI assets and accelerators for the practice, including skills, plugins, and MCP servers that make future engagements faster

  • Support Data & AI teams with best practices around AI-assisted development, documentation, and automation, and coach less experienced colleagues on agentic build patterns and security standards

  • Document deployment, upgrade paths, and maintenance so SQLI and our clients can own what you build after handover

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with AI-assisted development. You have shipped something real with Claude or another agent platform, not just followed tutorials

  • Strong TypeScript and/or Python for agentic glue code, custom MCP work, and evaluation

  • Experience building RAG applications

  • Hands-on with creating and using agent plugins, skills, and MCP servers for repeatable agentic workflows

  • Skilled at engineering the prompts and context that let agents do work as autonomously as is safe and sensible

  • Solid grasp of security, access control, and data protection (including GDPR) when building systems that act against real client data with real permissions

  • Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines and automation

  • Able to take a prototype through to a production-grade build, not just one or the other

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, ideally from an agency or consulting setting

  • Proactive and autonomous, able to spot opportunities, make sound engineering decisions, and own delivery rather than wait to be told how to build

We are looking for an Applied AI Engineer to embed directly with our US commercial and operational teams building a human and agentic “operating system” that powers how we work as a company. Build & Deploy AI Agents and Automations

  • Design, build, and deploy AI agents that automate administrative and repetitive workflows across commercial operations.

  • Lead multiple applied AI and data-science efforts from concept through prototype and pilot, prioritizing business impact and adoption

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $97,204- $121,500 per year. This range reflects the compensation we reasonably expect to offer at the time of posting. As our new Senior Data Scientist, you will join the Air & Climate Global Service Line (GSL) Innovation & Digital Transformation (IDT) team to design and deliver applied AI and data-science solutions that accelerate consulting workflows and improve knowledge reuse.

You will be part of a collaborative, innovation-focused team working on prototype-driven solutions that address complex, real-world consulting challenges. This role combines modern AI application development with classical data science, and involves taking ideas from concept through prototype and pilot deployment. You will partner with Digital Product Engineering (DPE) for production readiness and scaling of successful solutions.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Lead multiple applied AI and data-science efforts from concept through prototype and pilot, prioritizing business impact and adoption
  • Design and build AI-enabled solutions, including retrieval-based systems and document-processing workflows, to improve knowledge access and automation
  • Apply quantitative methods such as geospatial and time-series analysis to support consulting delivery and strengthen solution rigor
  • Develop dashboards and lightweight applications that translate analytical outputs into decision-ready insights for consultants and clients

Sounds great, what will I be doing? 🤔

As our Lead / Principal Forward Deployed Engineer you’ll be embedded directly with our most strategic accounts, owning the end-to-end technical deployment of our agentic AI platform. This isn’t a support role, and it isn’t a solutions consultant with a fancy title — you’ll write production code, own technical outcomes, and be the reason our biggest customers succeed and expand. You’ll operate with the autonomy of a founding engineer and the commercial instinct of a GTM leader.

A few things you’ll be responsible for:

👉 Embed with our Tier 1 enterprise accounts and own end-to-end deployments of our agentic AI platform — from discovery through to production, including bespoke integrations, data pipelines, and workflow automations.

👉 Lead AI agents into production in complex environments (legacy systems, security, compliance), turning cutting-edge capability into measurable business outcomes.

👉 Partner with Enterprise AEs in late-stage sales cycles — leading proof-of-concept builds and assessing technical readiness to de-risk and accelerate the close.

👉 Surface patterns from the field and feed them back to product and engineering, acting as the bridge between customer reality and roadmap.

👉 Build out the FDE practice as it scales: repeatable deployment playbooks, success metrics, and mentoring mid-level FDEs.

Here’s what the team will be looking for in you:

👉 Significant experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or a customer-facing technical role — with meaningful time spent shipping production code in complex enterprise environments.

👉 Demonstrable experience deploying AI or data-heavy products into large organisations — real production deployments, not just POCs.

👉 Strong full-stack or backend engineering fundamentals: Python essential, plus comfort across APIs, SQL, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), and data pipelines.

👉 The ability to work through ambiguity and turn it into a concrete technical plan.

👉 Clear communication across technical and business audiences — you can tailor the same idea for an engineering lead and a commercial stakeholder.

👉 Willingness to travel to client sites across the UK and Europe (approximately 30–50% of the time).

Nice to have:

👉 Hands-on experience with LLM deployment, AI agents, or agentic workflow automation.

👉 A background in a high-growth B2B SaaS or AI-native company.

Minimum Qualifications:

The Mission

We are a trucking compliance business started in 1973. In the last 4 years we’ve successfully transitioned from DOS systems and dot matrix printers to streamlined processes and web-based systems using contract developers and our own technical abilities. About 18 months ago, the owner started vibing with Replit Agent and Claude Code to ship internal tools, integrations, and web applications across our brands. While that’s been fruitful as a proof-of-concept, the business owner is currently the primary builder, which is a terrible spot for a business owner to be.

We are looking for our first technical hire. A senior-level Full-Stack Developer who wants to get into the weeds and ship some cool internal systems and external services. We need a "Builder-in-Chief" to own the entire product lifecycle. You’ll embed with the client service team to identify friction points, help design the solution, and direct AI agents to execute the build. We’ll make sure you have the tools and an environment to do your best work.

The Stack & Your Technical Role

You won't be writing every line of code by hand, but you must be a master of the craft to validate, refactor, and secure what the AI produces. Because of our “just go with it” strategy, our stack has gotten wide. We’d like you to help us shape the stack going forward using your expertise. Our ecosystem currently includes:

  • Core Apps: Ruby on Rails (our primary fuel tax app, FM22), Laravel (authority filings), and Express/React (Authority work order management).

  • Design “Not-Too-Shabby” Frontends: It’s 2026, there’s no reason to ship an ugly UI or a poor user experience. Maybe the UI won’t win any awards for novelty, but it’ll be high on usability and will be easy on our middle-aged eyes.
  • Testing & Deployment: Own the testing suite. You are responsible for ensuring that AI-generated code is maintainable and solves the business problem before it hits production.
  • Technical Documentation: Ensure we have high quality and current technical documentation so enhancements, fixes, and maintenance are efficient.

  • You have a track record of shipping production-grade software (not just prototypes).
  • You would rather sit down and watch someone work than ask a series of academic questions
  • You’ve developed deep domain knowledge in the past

As a Technical Architect, Data & AI focused on Salesforce Data 360 (formerly Data Cloud) and Agentforce, you will be responsible for owning the end-to-end technical solution that turns unified customer data into intelligent, AI-powered experiences for our clients. This position is focused on architecting and executing technical solutions across the Data 360 and Agentforce platform—designing scalable data models, identity resolution strategies, real-time activation patterns, and the agentic solutions built on top of them.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and own the technical solution design across Data 360 and Agentforce—including data streams, DLOs, DMOs, identity resolution, calculated insights, segments, real-time activation, and the agent topics, instructions, and actions that consume that data.
  • Design scalable and secure data architectures on Salesforce Data 360—defining ingestion patterns, harmonization, identity resolution rules, and zero-copy / data federation strategies.
  • Deep dive into the limits and boundaries of Data 360 and Agentforce, finding novel solutions to drive business outcomes.
  • Architect RAG and Generative AI solutions leveraging Unstructured DMOs, Retrievers, Search Indexes, and Document Processing, applying RAG best practices.
  • Collaborate with customers, Project Managers, Solution Architects, Developers, and UX Designers to translate business needs into well-architected solutions.
  • Oversee and contribute to all stages of the project lifecycle—from initial design through development, testing, and final deployment.
  • Define integration frameworks and reference architectures connecting Data 360, MuleSoft, enterprise data warehouses, and other systems using real-time and batch patterns.
  • Establish DevOps, source control, and CI/CD practices for data and AI solutions.
  • Coach and mentor developers and junior architects, and follow and understand new Salesforce products and technical capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in application, data, or software development and architecture
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with the Salesforce Platform in a development or architecture role
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience architecting and implementing Salesforce Data 360 (Data Cloud)—data streams, DLOs, DMOs, identity resolution, calculated insights, and activation
  • Proficiency in SQL and Apex, with exposure or working knowledge of modern coding languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java)
  • Experience designing data integration patterns across enterprise systems (MuleSoft, ETL/ELT tooling, data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift)
  • Understanding of data modeling, governance, security, and privacy best practices
  • Experience with source control, branching/pull request strategies, and familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps principles
  • Strong communication skills; the ability to convey complex technical details to all audiences

Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Agentforce or other Generative AI / agentic platforms
  • Experience building RAG solutions with Unstructured DMOs, Retrievers, and Search Indexes
  • Salesforce certifications, preferably Data Cloud Consultant, Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or Agentforce Specialist
  • Experience defining robust testing approaches for data and GenAI solutions
